HERMIONE’S SIGNATURE
Hermione’s style blends traditional artisan techniques with new and sustainable technologies. Fusing Haute Couture handwriting with a celestial sentiment, appliqué organza blooms, crystal cosmic motifs, and delicately beaded botanical embroideries celebrate the lavish artistry of nature.

CUSTOM DESIGN CONSULTATION
Beginning either virtually with a one-to-one consultation at the brand’s by-appointment Atelier in London this first meeting lasts 60 to 90 minutes and is a unique opportunity to understand the bride’s vision for her dress and her day. The Atelier team will be in touch beforehand to confirm styles and embroideries of interest, ensuring these pieces are present at the appointment.
An opportunity to explore the Hermione de Paula library of embroideries & artworks and try on a combination of different silhouettes, you will be guided by an experienced Bridal Stylist who will advise on colour variations, as well as customisable options and veils to compliment each style. Photographs are taken during the course of the appointment, and shared with the Bride as a reference.
Anything is possible, and those brides outside of the Custom scope can discuss the Hermione de Paula Couture service.
We welcome brides to attend consultations with up to 2 guests.
AFTER THE FIRST CUSTOM APPOINTMENT
Your personal stylist will be in touch to discuss your appointment and review all the photos and decisions taken on the day. If you’d like to move forward, they will work with you to determine the styles and customisations you’re interested in and prepare a quote for you.
We encourage Virtual appointments with our Stylists to refine your ideas further, sharing imagery of style combinations and artworks, and advising on options within your budget and timeline. Second appointments can be made to re-try on gowns or refine your ideas and bring further friends and family to your appointment if desired.
For those brides wanting to create something entirely unique, Hermione de Paula offer a Couture Service.
THE NEXT STEPS
Having made a payment to secure your gown a timeline will be set for its creation. Hermione de Paula regularly work with international Brides as well as brides who are having destination weddings and sets its timelines based on the bride's collection date (as opposed to wear date).
If required you will be invited back to the Atelier to have your measurements taken by a member of the Atelier team (this can also be done virtually if necessary).
FINAL FITTINGS
Hermione de Paula work towards a custom gown completion date with enough time prior to the collection date to include two fittings hosted at the Atelier. It is important the bride wears her wedding shoes, and correct underwear which she shall be wearing on the day. During the first fitting, the gown will be pinned to perfection, and the bride is invited back once all alterations have been made to try on and take home their final, flawless wedding gown.
International brides have the option of their gown being sent to them. Where possible, Hermione de Paula will assist in coordinating a fitting with a local seamstress.

MADE TO ORDER
Hermione de Paula's made to order collection is no less special and unique. Once selected from the current collection dresses are created in the UK set size nearest to your measurements. Each dress is handmade and takes a small team of specialist artisans a 12 weeks to create, depending on the complexity of the style.
Some styles can be created within a shorter timeframe, but may require a priority fee.
MADE TO ORDER CUSTOMISATIONS
Within the made to order collection, artwork and embroideries are hand engineered onto a gown pattern of a set size. Because of the huge amount of handwork that goes into our gowns any customisations need to be individually planned and costed.
If your chosen customisations can be included into the current embroidery design then each element can be smiply costed in. However if your personalisations require the artwork to be re-designed we will quote you for a bespoke creation.
