From there, our team will guide you towards the most suitable creation route, with indicative timelines and next steps.
Appointments are available in London, New York, Los Angeles, or virtually via Zoom. For Couture clients unable to travel, the Atelier offers a white-glove fitting and consultation service, ensuring the full couture experience can be delivered wherever you are. Custom personalisation is available across all tiers, including Archive Sale, Prêt-à-Porter, Made-to-Order, Custom, and Couture wedding dresses. Every personalised detail is considered artistically, ensuring it feels integral to the gown, with pricing based on the additional atelier hours involved.

Our Made-to-Order reflects the cost of craftsmanship and materials only, as the creative development, including pattern cutting, fittings, grading, colour development, embroidery design, swatches, and revisions, has already been completed.

Some styles can be created within a shorter timeframe, but may require a priority fee.
Once your design is confirmed, the Atelier will take your measurements to begin the creation process. Virtual measurements and fittings can also be arranged for international clients.
Typical creation timelines are 4–6 months, with an additional 1–3 months recommended if international shipping is required. This allows ample time for fittings with a trusted local seamstress once your gown is received. Hermione de Paula regularly works with international brides and destination weddings, with timelines thoughtfully planned around the bride’s travel dates to the venue, rather than the wedding date itself.

Our most popular route, Custom allows clients to make an existing Hermione de Paula design uniquely their own. This may include adapting the silhouette, bespoke colours, reworking embroidery motifs, or incorporating personal narrative details such as incorporating more significant embroidery details inspired by something meaningful to you.
Because much of the original design language is already established, this route allows for efficiency while remaining deeply personal and expressive.

COUTURE
Couture is a fully new creation, a one-of-a-kind gown designed and crafted entirely from scratch in direct collaboration with Hermione.
These wearable works of living art evolve organically with design development, fittings, and handcraft. Each piece is a truly museum worthy unique heirloom, created exclusively for you, with significant direct communication with Hermione and the atelier throughout the process.
The Couture process is highly immersive, guided by close collaboration and craft.
LEAD TIMES 4-12 months
Hermione de Paula Couture is delivered as a fully white-glove service from initial consultation through to final fitting. While traditional couture timelines often extend beyond twelve months, the Hermione de Paula Atelier is highly experienced in working to exceptionally fast lead times with international clients, as many clients require immediate access to the highest level of craftsmanship.
This flexibility, prioritisation, and dedicated atelier resource are reflected in the investment. Measurements and fittings are arranged seamlessly with Hermione and the Atelier team travelling for final fittings when necessary. Every detail is managed with discretion, ensuring a refined and effortless couture experience, wherever you are in the world.

Each couture commission is individually quoted POA. Investment reflects the artistic and technical scope of the piece - from the intricacy of hand-engineered embroidery and couture techniques to fabric and material selection, sculptural construction, silhouette scale and train length, coordinating accessories, lead time, and international considerations.
Travel expenses for white-glove fittings are quoted separately where required.
